At Bloom Farms we are incredibly lucky to have the team that we do. We want to share with you the heart and dedication from behind the scenes that ultimately make BF what is is today! This month we would like to introduce you to Nick! Arguably the most attractive on the team, ladies and gentleman, meet our Brand/Account Manager!
What are some of your favorite hobbies? / What do you do “for fun”?
I’ve been really into personal development lately. I am constantly trying to find ways to live better. You can see me with the biggest smile on my face when I am outdoors: hiking, backpacking, exploring.
What do you do to relax?
Reading and Yoga are some things I’ve let go by the wayside that usually relax me quite a bit. I have a hard time relaxing during the week. 10 mins of meditation usually resets me when I truly need it.
Best rainy day activity?
Watching the storm through the big bay windows in my living room with my wife and a cup of coffee. I love the weight of rainy days. We don’t get enough of them.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t believe everything that you think.
Do you have any creative outlets? Can you describe them to me?
I play the guitar, but that is mostly just something to get better at. When I feel truly creative I write. I write either on paper with pens, or on other things with paint.
How does medical marijuana personally benefit you?
I have a hip condition that has forced me to have multiple surgeries to repair the damage. I primarily use cannabis for chronic and acute pain management. Cannabis is rather subjective, I also use it to spur creativity and for daily motivation.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things could you not live without?
Practical: Water, Sunblock, Knife.
More Fun: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, a speed boat for escape, highlighter pen set and refills.
What brought you to Bloom Farms?
Mike our CEO approached me in the very beginning stages of this project. I was drawn to the social responsibility and holistic lifestyle we promote.
What do you enjoy most about working with Bloom Farms?
The people first and foremost. We have an incredible team at Bloom Farms. What drew me to the cannabis industry to begin with is the chance to work in a field that is constantly evolving. We in California have a unique opportunity to have our hands in something that could possibly shape the culture of the greater public, not only current cannabis users.
In what ways do you feel that Bloom Farms stands out in the Cannabis Industry?
There are very few companies who are as focused on social responsibility as Bloom Farms. There are even fewer companies (that i’ve seen) that are as design minded.
What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?
Quitting a dead end job and breaking free of a cycle that was not serving my personal growth.
What excites you most about the future of Bloom Farms?
Waking up every morning with something to be proud of.
