Executive Assistant - OPEN

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – OAKLAND, CA

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with multiple executives while also supporting the overall department. This person should be a self-starter that needs very little management or direction. The EA will serve as an extension of the company and must be comfortable working with confidential and high priority projects with a focus on excellent time management, organization, and tactfulness when working in a constant people-facing role. Applicant must be able to provide exceptional administrative support in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, the willingness to take on projects, pitch in when needed and be available after-hours is essential.

Start-up experience is also an added bonus, but not required.

 

Primary Duties:

  • Ability to answer important correspondence after hours and weekends in a timely manner
  • Coordinating department meetings
  • Attending department meetings and taking thorough notes when requested
  • Deciphering Executive Director’s notes while keeping project management software accurate and up to date
  • Arrange detailed travel plans, transportation itineraries and completing expense reports for all executive travel
  • Ensure the Executive Director is prepared for all meeting and calls
  • Review and screen communications and make independent decisions based on priority
  • Ensure urgent matters are escalated to the Executive Director in a timely, effective, and appropriate manner
  • Anticipate and be proactive in managing some of the Executive Director’s personal support needs. i.e. doctor appointments, vehicle maintenance etc.
  • Build efficiency and effectiveness into existing operations by creating and documenting articulate process and procedures
  • Manage reporting activities, data analysis and entry, and assistance on special projects
  • Project Management on multiple items with an intermediate degree of complexity
  • Organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities simultaneously with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Organize and manage the volunteer days and other internal company events such as executive strategy sessions, team meetings, happy hours, holiday parties etc.
  • Maintain a professional and polished demeanor at all times, whether internally or externally while creating an internal culture that feels both accessible and friendly
  • Anticipate and provide additional support to the executive team

Brand Ambassador - OPEN

Part-Time / $17.50 hr + Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Visit dispensaries and educate consumers and bud-tenders on our products.
  • Conduct samplings for dispensary staff and patients.
  • Engage with patients to ensure their participation at dispensaries, collectives, trade shows, and other lifestyle events.
  • Assist in setup and tear down of event site elements.
  • Share our brand message at every opportunity.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge of our products.
  • Present a professional, responsible appearance at all times.
  • Always be on-site and on-time for training and event activation.

Position Description

BLOOM FARMS will depend on the Packager to construct and organize packages and cartons. The position is demanding, repetitious, and requires sitting for long periods of time with some heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. As part of the team, the qualified individual will have a positive attitude, and desire to develop with this fast growing operation.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Construct various packages and cartons by applying labels and date stamps that are consistent with the product’s batch information
  • Complete all tasks efficiently to meet or exceed daily quotas for packaging
  • Inspect packaging and products to guarantee they are free of flaws and assembled correctly
  • Understand the needs of the company and work with team members to achieve goals
  • Clean and sanitize work area
  • Practice proper handling techniques at all times

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be extremely reliable and trustworthy

Mountain Ranch, CA is located in the base of the Sierra Foothill Mountains about 2.5 hours from San Francisco and 1.5 hours from Sacramento.

We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Full Time Farm Hand. You’re a natural-born hard worker and efficient in everything you do. Regular 10-12 hour workdays are no big deal because making a positive difference motivates you. You are a problem solver by nature but are not afraid to ask for help when it is needed.

The candidate for this position does not need prior cannabis experience but a background in sustainable agriculture is a plus.
